When should I take action? |
1. Unable to contact the buyer
|
- Allow at least three days for the buyer to email you.
- Make sure your contact details given to the buyer are correct and spam filters are not blocking their emails.
- If you still have not received a response from the buyer you can request the buyers contact information from OfferMe. Click here for more information. Still unable to contact the buyer? We recommend you now leave appropriate feedback.

Allow at least 3 days before requesting the buyers information from OfferMe.
After 5 days, of you emailing them with still no response,leave them appropriate feedback.

2. Did not receive payment
|
- You should allow at least 5 working days for the buyer to make the payment.
- Email the buyer and remind them to kindly make the payment.
- If the buyer is still not responding, report the item as unpaid on OfferMe and open a dispute. To find out more about lodging a dispute, click here.
- Leave appropriate feedback for buyer.
* Please note that the seller transaction fee can be refunded if a buyer refuses to complete the purchase and both parties agree to cancel the transaction using the dispute console.

Allow 5 days for payment.
After 10 days if you still have not been able to contact the buyer, report item as unpaid and lodge a dispute.

3. Dealing with improper or insulting language
|
If you find anyone using offensive language on OfferMe please report it immediately to us with necessary details. We will take appropriate action based on our own investigation. If someone uses this language outside of OfferMe's platform, for example in an email, we cannot take action against them as it is not in our authority to do so. |

4. Buyer refuses to buy
|
Buyers are obligated to purchase the item once they commit to buy.
- Firstly, contact the buyer and ask if there is a genuine reason for not purchasing the item.
- If you are not satisfied with the reason they have provided, lodge a dispute and leave the buyer appropriate feedback.

What to do after 5 days:
- Contact the buyer by email and/or phone.
- Send a 'Payment reminder'.
If you are unable to contact the buyer within 7 days or you are not satisfied with their reason for not proceeding with the transaction, lodge a dispute.
